SAYB offers both Recreational and Traveling baseball leagues. Recreational leagues are available for players in grades K-6. Recreational leagues are lower in cost, offer a more casual commitment level, and focus on player development and fun gameplay. Travel leagues offer more competitive opportunities for players in grades 4-9 (10U-15U). Travel leagues are higher in cost, have a more demanding level of commitment, and target more advanced training. Regardless of what your family is looking for, SAYB has a place for you! With the addition of a Junior Legion option locally for Mounds View freshman baseball players, SAYB's ability to offer a 15U program is currently in review. It is anticipated that once the Junior Legion team is formed, there may not be enough players remaining to field a 15U team in SAYB. Stay tuned for more information as this topic is evaluated. Registration for 15U is currently disabled pending a determination.

*Assessment Cost Represents Estimate Only: Travel cost assessments are in addition to registration fee and cover tournament entries, uniforms, and training rentals over and above Recreational League costs. The Northstar League offers a recreational level program competing against other area baseball associations. Northstar league assessments are expected to be lower than other travel offerings and may fall in the $250 range. Assessment fees will be due May 1.
**Team Levels Noted Are Representative of Possible Levels. Final team levels will be determined by participation numbers and talent level at each age, per season. It is anticipated that AAA and AA teams will be fielded at each age. Additional team levels may vary by age and year.
