Greetings!

SAYB would like to invite all of the Big League players 13 years old and up to umpire this year. It's a fantastic way to earn some cash and really learn the rules of the game. If your youth is interested in umpiring, please have him or her attend the umpire training session next week, April 3rd at the Shoreview Community Center.

SAYB is pleased to announce that Nate Fredrickson and Ben Bodin will  be  in charge of training and development this year. Mitchell Daas will continue being our Umpire Scheduler. 

The 2018 Umpire registration/training will be held at the Shoreview Community Center on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM for new umpires, and 8:00PM to 9:30PM for returning umpires. There will be additional outdoor training sessions scheduled at a later date.

Please download, sign, and bring the youth and/or adult umpire agreement to the umpire training. You can find these documents on the Umpire page on sayb.org.

Umpires 18 years and older will be required to complete an online course in youth sports concussions. There is a brief test at the end of the course and a certificate is available upon completion. If over 18 year of age, please bring your certificate to the above mentioned training session.
