Hamline University is providing SAYB Big Leaguers with an indoor evening that players can utilize to "warm up" for our upcoming player evaluation process.

Baseball is right around the corner!

New for this year, Shoreview Baseball has worked with Hamline University to provide an indoor evening that players can utilize to "warm up" for our upcoming player evaluation process.

Date: Friday, Februrary 20th
Time: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Location:  Hamline University Walker Fieldhouse – 1536 Hewitt Avenue – St. Paul, MN (south of football stadium).

Enter at the door for the racquetball courts (east side of the Fieldhouse). Go to the lower level.

Details:

  1. This evening will be run by the Hamline Baseball Coaches and players.
  2. It is not required and there is no charge for the warm up.  It is being offered to provide players with a warm location for practice and for new parents/players to become familiar with the location. This is the same location that is used for the tryout process on 2/28
  3. Please wear tennis shoes and bring your glove and bat.
  4. Since we have no history with this event we do not know how many players will show up. Wait times could be minimal or high.
  5. Hamline has requested that parents not be on the floor with the players (Safety risk). There is a running track above the gym or windows where parents can observe. SAYB staff will most likely not be there since we are also running the Little League evaluation the next morning. Hamline is kind enough to open their facility to us, so please adhere to this request.
  6. SAYB DOES NOT provide insurance for this event. Our insurance does not begin until the morning of our tryout process. Individuals participating understand that they are doing so at their own risk.
